About Kira Morgan's latest novel: "In 16th century Scotland, young Miss Florie Gilder runs away from her drunken foster father to find her real father and her noble heritage. Along the way, she is accused of theft, becomes a fugitive hiding in a forest, and is accidentally wounded by a handsome local huntsman. The huntsman--a Robin-Hood figure who poaches wild game from the landowner's estate to feed the starving poor--carries the beautiful maiden to a church where she is guaranteed 40 days of sanctuary from the law. During that time, he learns her true story, falls in love with her, and helps her in her quest, at the risk of his own life. Smitten with him, she worries more for his survival. But enemies of the state are seeking to overturn the Catholic royals, while a vicious noblewoman is out to destroy Florie." NOW AVAILABLE FOR NOOK READERS, TOO!

Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,
SEDUCED BY DESTINY came out in March, and already you're pestering me for my next book! Well, good news...
Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,
What do Father's Day cards and my latest book have in common? Golf! You see, my sword-wielding hero in SEDUCED BY DESTINY prefers waging war and exacting revenge on the golf course!
Come see me at the Costa Mesa ScotsFest at the Orange County Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 29th. I'll be signing books at the Celtic Nook! www.scotsfest.com
Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,
Happy Mother's Day to all of you who have ever been a mom...whether that means caring for your own children, letting the neighbor's kids hang out at your place after school, or giving a comfy spot on your lap to a furry friend! In medieval times, it truly did take a village to raise a child.
Dear Friends, Fans, and Family,
Most asked question when I'm doing a booksigning--Do you know where the bathroom is? Second most--Where do you get your ideas? For SEDUCED BY DESTINY, I was inspired by a visit to a gravesite at an ancient battlefield in the Borders of Scotland. A gravestone there commemorates a brave Scotswoman who took up her sword against the English at the Battle of Ancrum Moor in 1545. Here's the inscription...
